4. Booking Confirmation
Customers are responsible for providing accurate booking information, including:

- Event date
- Event location
- Required service
- Number of people
- Preferred timing
- Any specific design requirements
Once the booking details and payment terms have been agreed upon, changes to the booking may be subject to availability and additional charges.
Karan Mehndi Art cannot guarantee availability until the booking has been officially confirmed.
5. Advance Payment and Balance Payment
An advance payment may be required to secure your booking.
The applicable advance amount and payment schedule will be communicated to you before confirmation.
The remaining balance, if any, must be paid according to the payment terms agreed at the time of booking.
Failure to make required payments within the agreed timeframe may result in cancellation of the booking, subject to the circumstances and prior communication.
All payment terms should be confirmed in writing through an official communication channel whenever possible.

7. Cancellation Policy

Where an advance has been specifically described as non-refundable before payment, it may not be refundable except where required by applicable law or where Karan Mehndi Art agrees otherwise.
8. Rescheduling
Customers may request to change their event date or time.
Rescheduling is subject to:
- Artist availability;
- The new date and time;
- Existing bookings;
- Changes in service requirements; and
- Any additional travel or other applicable costs.
A rescheduling request does not guarantee that the original booking can be transferred to the new date.
If the requested new date is unavailable, the booking may be treated as a cancellation according to the applicable cancellation terms.
9. Design References and Customization
Customers may provide reference images or examples of their preferred mehndi designs.
We will make reasonable efforts to create a design inspired by the requested style.
However, handmade mehndi is an artistic service, and the final design may not be an exact reproduction of a reference image.
Differences may occur due to:
- Hand size and shape
- Skin surface
- Application time
- Artist’s artistic interpretation
- Design complexity
- Customer preferences
- Practical limitations during the event
By booking our service, customers acknowledge that handmade artwork may naturally vary.
10. Mehndi Colour and Staining
The final colour of mehndi can vary from person to person.
The resulting stain may depend on factors including:
- Individual skin type
- Body temperature
- Skin chemistry
- Application area
- Aftercare
- Duration of mehndi application
- Removal technique
- Environmental conditions
Karan Mehndi Art cannot guarantee an identical colour or stain duration for every customer.
Customers should follow the aftercare instructions provided by the artist for the best possible results.
11. Skin Sensitivity and Allergies
Customers are responsible for informing the artist about any known skin sensitivity, allergies, or previous reactions to mehndi or cosmetic products before application.
Although we aim to use suitable and quality mehndi products, individual reactions can occur.
Customers should consider a patch test before a full application if they have concerns about sensitivity.
Karan Mehndi Art should be informed immediately if any unusual irritation, discomfort, burning, swelling, or other reaction occurs during application.
Customers should seek appropriate medical advice if they experience a significant or persistent reaction.
12. Black Henna / Chemical Products
Karan Mehndi Art does not recommend the use of unsafe chemical-based “black henna” products.
Customers should ask the artist about the products being used if they have any concerns regarding ingredients or sensitivity.
Where a customer requests a product or material that Karan Mehndi Art considers unsafe, unsuitable, or inappropriate, we reserve the right to refuse its use.
13. Customer Responsibilities
Customers are expected to:
- Provide accurate booking information.
- Be available at the agreed location and time.
- Provide a suitable, reasonably clean and comfortable working area.
- Ensure sufficient lighting and seating where required.
- Inform us in advance about significant changes to the event schedule.
- Inform us about any relevant skin sensitivity or allergy concerns.
- Ensure that the number of people requiring service matches the booking details.
Additional people or services requested on the event day may be accommodated only if artist availability permits and may result in additional charges.
14. Delays and Event Schedule
Customers should ensure that the artist can begin work at the agreed time.
Customer-related delays may reduce the available application time.
If the artist is delayed due to unforeseen circumstances, traffic, weather, emergencies, or other circumstances beyond reasonable control, we will make reasonable efforts to communicate the delay and complete the service as soon as reasonably possible.
For large weddings and events, customers should allow sufficient time for mehndi application within their event schedule.
15. Travel Charges
For bookings within or outside Delhi NCR, travel charges may apply depending on the location, distance, timing, transportation requirements, parking, tolls, or other reasonable travel expenses.
Any applicable travel charges will be communicated during the booking process.
For locations outside our normal service area, additional transportation or accommodation arrangements may be required depending on the booking.
16. Photographs and Portfolio Use
Karan Mehndi Art may photograph or record completed mehndi work for portfolio, website, social media, marketing, and promotional purposes where appropriate.
Where identifiable images of customers are intended to be used for promotional purposes, we will seek appropriate permission where required.
If you do not want identifiable photographs of yourself to be used for promotional purposes, please inform us before photography or as soon as reasonably possible.
Photographs focused only on the mehndi artwork may be used as part of our professional portfolio where appropriate.
